Boaz Frankel was born in Herzliya, Israel, in 1985. The short 212 (JFBB 2018) was his final project at the Sam Spiegel Film & Television School in Jerusalem. He received the Israeli Academy Award for the Best Short Feature Film for KILOMETER 147 in 2018.
